Following the clarification that an incident on a Flydubai flight involved a physical altercation between pilots rather than a hijacking attempt, the Israeli internet has transformed the news into a source of memes and political commentary. Prominent figures and media personalities have used the event to make satirical points.

Yotam Zimri, a panelist on "HaPatriotim," reacted on X (formerly Twitter) by referencing the film "Nezar" and its creators' alleged inflated casualty figures in Gaza, writing, "Nezar creators: 200 Palestinians were killed during the takeover of the suicidal pilot." He also quipped, "Yair Lapid: The pilots fought because of Bibi's judicial reform."

Yinon Magal, another "HaPatriotim" panelist, joined the trend, posting, "Bennett's first response: The fight between the pilots only proves how necessary it is to draft all the Haredim. We will fix it soon." Both panelists used the incident to mock what they perceive as attempts to link current events to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the government's actions.
