FlyDubai Sends Plane to Saudi Arabia for Stranded Passengers
FlyDubai has informed Israeli authorities that it will dispatch a plane from Dubai to Saudi Arabia to retrieve passengers from flight FZ1073. The flight, originally bound for Tel Aviv, made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia following an incident in the cockpit. Passengers remained in Saudi Arabia while the airline and authorities arranged for their onward travel. FlyDubai now plans to fly them to Israel on a separate service. The airline previously confirmed that a dispute between the pilots caused the flight to divert, ruling out earlier concerns of a hijacking.
