R.B.C.A. Import and Export Ltd., the official Israeli importer of French Floraline products, announced a significant recall on Tuesday of its "Cooking Grains Mix" (Durum wheat semolina and tapioca, 500g). The recall was initiated after the manufacturer discovered that the product exceeded the regulatory threshold for ergot alkaloids, natural toxins produced by fungi that can contaminate grains.
The affected product has batch number L5071O (all hour codes) and an expiration date of December 31, 2028. The barcode is 3177960003611. The manufacturer is Pastacorp, located in France, and the importer is R.B.C.A. Import and Export Ltd.
Consumers are strongly advised not to consume the product. To return the item and receive a refund, customers should contact consumer service at +972 54-357-9451. The company is working to immediately remove the products from store shelves in coordination with the Ministry of Health's Central District Food Service.
