Teenager Critically Injured in Suspected Grenade Attack in Holon
Police in Holon are investigating a serious incident after a 15-year-old boy was critically injured by what is suspected to be a grenade. The explosion was heard on Sanhedrin Street on Monday morning, prompting a police response. Bomb disposal experts are examining the scene to determine if a bomb detonated or a grenade was thrown at a residential apartment's yard.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) provided initial medical treatment to the teenager at the scene. He was conscious but sustained severe injuries.
He was subsequently transported by a mobile intensive care unit to Wolfson Hospital, where he remains in serious condition. "We saw the teenager conscious and suffering from severe injuries to his body. We provided him with life-saving medical treatment and evacuated him in an MDA intensive care unit to the hospital, his condition serious," said MDA paramedic Noam Barzani.
