IDF and Shin Bet Eliminate Hamas Terrorist Who Kidnapped Noa Argamani
Israeli security forces have eliminated Sahar Saqr, a Hamas terrorist identified as the motorcyclist who abducted Noa Argamani during the October 7th attacks. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency confirmed the strike, stating that Saqr had continued to advance terror plots during and after the war.
The operation, conducted in coordination with the Gideonim Unit 33 of Lahav 433, targeted Saqr in Nusayrat. The joint statement detailed that Saqr was an operative in global jihad organizations in Gaza, supplying Hamas with weapons during the conflict. He entered Israel on October 7th and was the driver who transported Argamani and her partner, Avinatan Or, from the Nova music festival to Gaza.
Argamani was held captive for eight months before being rescued in Operation Arnon. She has since advocated for the release of Avinatan Or, who was eventually freed in a hostage deal on October 13, 2025. The security forces stated that Saqr was eliminated from the air to neutralize the threat he posed, as he had been planning terror attacks against Israeli forces and civilians in collaboration with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives, systematically violating the ceasefire.
The elimination was confirmed on Sunday, September 27, 2026, with footage of the strike released by the Gideonim Unit 33.
