Gaza Sources Claim Israeli Strike Kills Hamas Member Involved in Noa Argaman's Abduction
Sources in Gaza reported that an Israeli airstrike on the evening of September 26 near the Al-Nuri tower in western Nusairat, central Gaza, killed Sahir Nidal Sakr. According to available information, Sakr was involved in the abduction of Israeli woman Noa Argaman on October 7, 2023, and was seen in widely circulated footage being driven away with her on a motorcycle by terrorists towards Gaza. As of the publication time, neither the IDF nor the Shin Bet had officially confirmed Sakr's identity or his alleged role in Argaman's kidnapping. Noa Argaman was initially abducted from the Nova music festival along with her partner, Avinatan Or. Argaman was rescued on June 8, 2024, during Operation Arnon, which also freed Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv. Avinatan Or was released from captivity on October 13, 2025.
