Palestinians Report Hamas Terrorist Involved in Noa Argamani's Kidnapping Killed
Palestinian reports on Sunday claimed that Sahar Saqr, allegedly involved in the October 7th kidnapping of Noa Argamani, was killed in an airstrike in Nusayrat, central Gaza Strip, on Saturday. No Israeli confirmation of the strike or Saqr's alleged role in the abduction has been released.
Argamani was abducted from the Nova music festival along with her partner, Avinatan Or. Footage of her being taken to Gaza on a motorcycle, while Or was held by other terrorists, became an iconic image of the October 7th attacks.
Argamani was rescued alive from Nusayrat on June 8, 2024, in a joint operation by the IDF, Shin Bet, and Yamam, after 246 days in captivity. Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv were also rescued in the same operation. Yamam fighter Arnon Zmora was killed during the operation, which was subsequently named in his honor.
In October 2025, the IDF and Shin Bet announced that Ahmed Ibrahim Ragab Sha'ar was responsible for the abduction of Argamani and Or and that he was killed in August 2025. Due to this prior announcement, Saqr's precise role in the event, as reported by Palestinian sources, remains unclear.
