Gaza Sources Report Killing of Israeli Hostage-Taker in Airstrike
Palestinian sources reported the death of Saher Sakr, who they claim was involved in the abduction of Israeli civilian Noa Argamani on October 7, 2023. Sakr was reportedly killed the previous day in an airstrike in Nuseirat, located in the central Gaza Strip. According to previously published documentation, Sakr transported Argamani on a motorcycle after her kidnapping and brought her into Gaza. Footage of Argamani's abduction became some of the most widely recognized evidence of the Hamas attack on Israel.
Noa Argamani was rescued from captivity on June 8, 2024, during a joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet in Nuseirat. She was saved along with three other hostages. Following her liberation, Argamani returned to Israel and has spoken about her experiences in captivity.
