IDF Eliminates Terrorist Involved in Noa Argamani's October 7 Abduction

Palestinian media reported on Saturday, September 26, that Saher Sakr, one of the individuals involved in the abduction of Noa Argamani, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip. Sakr was reportedly on the motorcycle used to forcibly transport Argamani to Gaza.

Noa Argamani was kidnapped from the Nova music festival along with her friend Avinatan Or on the morning of October 7, 2023. After eight months in captivity, she was rescued by the IDF in Operation Arnon and returned to Israel. Following her release, Argamani advocated for Or's return, who was eventually freed in a prisoner exchange on October 13, 2025.

On September 27, reports also emerged from Gaza of casualties from an Israeli strike near the White Mosque in the Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City.

The IDF and Shin Bet have been systematically targeting terrorists who infiltrated Israel on October 7, participated in massacres, and committed sexual violence. An IDF Southern Command source told Ynet that these same terrorists are now involved in rebuilding Hamas's military capabilities after engaging in combat throughout the war. "Therefore, our desire to settle scores with those who committed these atrocities aligns with the goal of stopping processes within Hamas that we cannot tolerate," the source stated.

The IDF and Shin Bet employ a tailored approach to targeted killings, with each strike based on specific circumstances. A dedicated operational headquarters closely monitors targets, tracking their movements. Some strikes are executed immediately upon receiving intelligence and identifying a unique opportunity, while others are meticulously planned days or even weeks in advance. The source emphasized that while opportunities are utilized, they are not the sole determinant. "As soon as we identify a target, we try to ensure all necessary conditions align: the opportunity arising from intelligence surveillance, and other factors that cannot be detailed. There are many terrorists in the sector, so we first compile a target list and then await the opportune moment for a strike, with maximum possible precision," the source explained.

Despite possessing comprehensive information about the October 7 events, security forces continue to uncover new details. "The list of terrorists accompanies us every day," the source said. "We will not put it aside. It is constantly before our eyes, including as a moral and ethical obligation: to settle scores with each of them." The source stressed that a large, round-the-clock system supports each strike, adding, "Even when the intensity of combat changes, we continue to work on striking with maximum possible intensity, without reducing efforts for a moment."
