Gideonim Unit Eliminates Hamas Terrorist Who Kidnapped Noa Argamani
The Gideonim Unit, part of the Lahav 433 special police unit, along with the IDF and Shin Bet, eliminated Hamas terrorist Sahar Tzakker in a targeted airstrike in the Nuseirat refugee camp, between Gaza City and Deir al-Balah. Tzakker was a Hamas operative who participated in the October 7th massacre and was part of the cell that abducted Noa Argamani from the Nova music festival.
Video footage released by the Gideonim Unit shows Tzakker being tracked from the air before the strike was authorized and executed. "It appears we have a positive," one operative reportedly said over the radio, followed by "It's done" after the strike. Tzakker was documented in widely circulated footage riding a motorcycle towards Gaza with a terrified Argamani, screaming behind him, separated from her partner Avinatan Or.
The IDF stated that Tzakker was eliminated to neutralize the threat he posed, as he had recently been advancing terror plans against Israeli forces and civilians in coordination with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives, systematically violating the ceasefire agreement.
Tzakker's elimination comes after his role in the abduction of Argamani became a global symbol of Hamas's brutality. The video of her kidnapping, being taken to Gaza by four terrorists, garnered international attention.
