Gaza Militant Involved in Noa Argamani's Abduction Killed in Israeli Airstrike
Sahar Saqr, a Hamas militant identified as the individual who abducted Israeli hostage Noa Argamani on a motorcycle from the Nova music festival on October 7th, has been killed in an Israeli airstrike. The strike occurred in the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza.
The Israeli military and the Shin Bet security agency stated that Saqr was eliminated as part of their ongoing operation to dismantle Hamas and eliminate those involved in the October 7th attacks. Saqr was reportedly riding the motorcycle used to transport Argamani after her abduction.
Noa Argamani was one of several hostages taken from the Supernova music festival near the Gaza border. Her abduction was captured on video and became a widely shared symbol of the Hamas attacks. She was released in a hostage rescue operation conducted by the IDF and Shin Bet in June 2024, alongside Almog Meir Jan, Andrey Kozlov, and Shlomi Ziv. Saqr's elimination marks a continued effort by Israeli security forces to target individuals responsible for the events of October 7th.
