Netanyahu to Skip Meeting with Trump During US Visit
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will not meet with former US President Donald Trump during his upcoming visit to the United States, according to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office. The office announced that Netanyahu's schedule is packed with meetings with numerous world leaders, including the presidents of Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay, Panama, and Ethiopia, as well as the vice president of Colombia. He is also slated to meet with the prime ministers of Greece, Slovenia, and Papua New Guinea.
The Prime Minister's Office explained that many leaders requested meetings with Netanyahu, but due to a tight schedule and the need to return to Israel before the Sukkot holiday, he could only accommodate a portion of these requests. The statement did not specify why a meeting with Trump was not possible within the existing schedule.
