Young Man Dies in Tragic Hit-and-Run Near Zichron Yaakov
A cloud of grief has descended upon the town of Al-Fureidis following the death of a young man, Abd al-Karim Subhi Marai, 30s, in a horrific hit-and-run incident. The accident occurred on Route 4 near the Zichron Yaakov junction on Tuesday evening.
Marai, identified as a soldier, was riding an electric bicycle when he was struck by a truck. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom attempted resuscitation efforts at the scene but were ultimately unsuccessful due to the severity of his injuries. Doctors pronounced him dead at the site of the crash.
