Israeli police have arrested three individuals from the Bedouin community in the southern region on suspicion of involvement in six burglaries targeting schools in the Lachish area. Over the past month, hundreds of tablets used by students were stolen from schools in Nitzanim, Beit Hanan, Beer Ganim, and Amonim.
The arrests were made on Highway 6 near Kiryat Malachi during a joint operation involving detectives from the Lachish District, officers from the Kiryat Malachi station, and combatants from the southern Magav (Border Police).
