Teenager Killed in Hadera Parking Lot After Altercation During Prayer
A 17-year-old named Amichai Attia was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the "Mol Ha'chof Village" complex in Hadera. Eyewitnesses reported that the incident followed an argument between the driver of the commercial vehicle and worshippers attending a "Selichot" prayer service. The worshippers were reportedly angered because the driver was unloading merchandise during the prayer, which was taking place in the parking lot.
According to testimonies, the driver told the youths he needed to unload his vehicle quickly but could not persuade them to leave him alone. A significant commotion erupted around the vehicle. As the driver began to accelerate to escape the crowd, he hit Amichai at speed. He then continued driving, sustaining minor injuries himself from shots fired at him by a member of a neighborhood watch team.
