Teen Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Hadera Identified
The 17-year-old boy who was fatally struck by a vehicle in the "Village" shopping complex in Hadera has been identified as Amihai Attia from Itamar. Attia was a 12th-grade student at the Hitzim Yeshiva and the son of Sagit and Yona Attia. He is survived by five siblings, including a twin brother.
The community of Itamar released a statement describing Attia as a beloved, principled, and vibrant young man who was a significant figure among the local youth and an active counselor at the youth movement branch. The statement further noted his full participation in community life, his popularity among friends, and the deep impact he left on the community.
