Teenager Killed in Hit-and-Run and Shooting at Hadera Shopping Center
A 17-year-old boy was killed early this morning in a hit-and-run incident at the "Ha' Hof Beach Village" shopping complex in Hadera, followed by gunfire. According to police, the incident began with a confrontation between individuals, during which the teenager was struck by a vehicle. Subsequently, shots were heard at the scene.
The victim was found unconscious with severe head trauma. Paramedics attempted resuscitation and transported him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera, where his death was pronounced. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries from the shooting and was taken for medical treatment.
Initial police investigations indicate that a dispute preceded the collision and the shooting. Police stated that the incident began with a confrontation, leading to the teenager being run over and later shots being fired. The driver was injured by gunfire.
Large police forces from the Hadera station arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and launched an investigation. Following an assessment, the investigation was transferred to the central unit of the Menashe region. Police confirmed the motive is criminal and not related to terrorism.
