Teen Critically Injured After Being Hit by Car in Hadera
A teenage boy, approximately 18 years old, was critically injured early Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a commercial center in Hadera. Emergency medical services (Magen David Adom, MDA) provided initial treatment and transported the boy to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in the city, continuing resuscitation efforts en route. The incident was reported to MDA's emergency hotline at 1:40 AM. Responders found the teenager unconscious, without a pulse or breathing, and suffering from severe head trauma.
Paramedic Yiska Ben Nun and EMTs Victor Goltz and Yonatan Yankelovitch described the scene, stating, "When we arrived, we were led to the casualty who was lying in the commercial center's parking lot after being hit by a vehicle. We immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts and evacuated him in a mobile intensive care unit to the hospital, continuing the resuscitation. His condition is defined as critical." The MDA provided operational documentation of the event.
