Teenager Killed, Driver Injured in Violent Incident at Hadera Shopping Center
Police are investigating a severe violent incident that occurred early Friday morning at the "Village" shopping complex in Hadera, central Israel. A 17-year-old boy was killed after being run over, and a driver sustained light injuries from gunfire. The motive is believed to be criminal.
Initial findings indicate the incident began with a confrontation between parties. During the altercation, the teenager was struck by a vehicle and subsequently, shots were fired at the scene. The victim was critically injured and later pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle was lightly wounded by gunfire and received medical treatment.
Large police forces from the Hadera station responded to the scene, collected evidence, and launched an investigation into the circumstances. Following an assessment, the investigation has been assigned to the Menashe District Crime Unit.
