Five Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Israel

Five people were killed in separate road accidents across Israel on Thursday. The fatalities occurred within a span of several hours, highlighting a particularly deadly day on the nation's roads.

The first incident took place on Route 310 near Giva'ot Bar in the Negev region around 10:30 AM. A collision between two private vehicles resulted in the deaths of two men in their 30s. Emergency medical responders described the scene as "horrific," with severe damage to both cars. One vehicle was found on the median barrier.

Later in the afternoon, a cyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle in Tel Aviv. Shortly thereafter, a taxi driver, approximately 70 years old, died after his vehicle was hit by a bus on the Ayalon Highway. Three other individuals sustained minor injuries in this incident, and one person suffered moderate injuries.

In the evening, a motorcyclist was killed when he was hit by a vehicle on Route 780 near Kiryat Ata. Emergency services pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.

Paramedics responding to the various incidents described the severity of the crashes, noting extensive vehicle damage and the critical condition of some victims. Efforts to revive some of the critically injured were undertaken, but ultimately unsuccessful in several cases.
