Four Dead in Three Separate Road Accidents Across Israel

Four people were killed in three separate road accidents across central and southern Israel on Thursday. In the early morning hours, a cyclist in his 50s was struck and killed by a car in northern Tel Aviv. Initially in critical condition, his death was confirmed after resuscitation efforts failed. The driver, identified as a Palestinian illegally present in Israel, was arrested on suspicion of stealing the vehicle used in the collision and possessing car theft tools found inside. Later in the day, two men in their 30s died when two vehicles collided near Giv'ot Bar in the Negev. Paramedics pronounced them dead at the scene. In a third incident on Highway 1, one person was killed and five others injured when a bus and a taxi crashed. The accident caused significant traffic congestion, with police directing vehicles away from the area.
