Two Relatives Killed in Negev Head-On Collision Weeks Before Wedding
Two men from the same family were killed Thursday morning in a head-on collision on Highway 310 near Giv'ot Bar in the northern Negev. The crash occurred around 10:30 a.m. when the two vehicles they were driving collided.
One of the deceased, Amin al-Tarabin, a father of three, was reportedly on duty as a delivery driver at the time of the accident. The second victim, Abed al-Sana, was on his way to work and was scheduled to be married in two weeks.
Emergency medical responders described the scene as "horrific," with severe front-end damage to both vehicles. Both men, described as being in their 30s, were found without a pulse or breathing and were pronounced dead at the scene.
A family member, Majdi Tarabin, told i24NEWS that the family is in shock and mourning. He described the road as dangerous, citing numerous accidents and fatalities, and claimed there is a lack of speed enforcement. "We talk about it, but nobody listens and nobody looks at this road," he said, calling for speed cameras or other measures to improve safety.
