Two Men Killed in Severe Collision on Route 310 Near Givot Bar
Two men, both around 30 years old, were killed in a serious car accident involving two vehicles on Route 310 near Givot Bar in southern Israel on Thursday. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) pronounced the men dead at the scene after they sustained severe, multi-system trauma.
MDA emergency medical technician Razak Al-Touri described the scene as "shocking," noting that the vehicles had significant front-end damage, with one car on the median barrier. He stated that the two men were unconscious, without pulse or breathing, and had sustained extensive injuries.
Israel Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the fatal crash. Traffic accident investigators from the Negev region and officers from the Rahat station arrived at the scene. Route 310 was closed in both directions to allow for investigation and cleanup operations.
Firefighters from the Rahat station also responded to the collision, reporting a head-on crash between the vehicles. They worked to extricate two trapped individuals who were found without signs of life.
