Rain Returns to Northern Israel Amid Cooler Temperatures

Following a period of unseasonably high temperatures across Israel, the Meteorological Service forecasts a significant shift in weather patterns starting Friday. While Thursday night and Friday will remain clear to partly cloudy with lingering warmth, Friday is expected to bring a noticeable drop in temperatures, particularly in the mountains and inland areas, bringing them back to seasonal norms. Localized rain showers are anticipated in northern and central Israel, with a possibility of isolated thunderstorms in the north. Winds will also strengthen across most regions.

Saturday will see continued partly cloudy skies and a slight further decrease in temperatures. Light rain or drizzle may occur in northern Israel and along the coastal plain until the afternoon. By Sunday, the weather is expected to clear, with morning clouds and potential coastal drizzle giving way to fair conditions. Temperatures will rise slightly, returning to seasonal averages in most areas.
