Israeli Teen Arrested for Alleged Plot to Bomb Amdocs Data Center

Israel's Shin Bet security agency and police have arrested a 19-year-old resident of Kafr Qasim, Mustafa Issa, on suspicion of terrorist activity and planning to bomb a data center linked to the technology company Amdocs. According to investigators, Issa was in the final stages of planning the attack when he was apprehended. Authorities stated that the suspect was motivated by the Hamas attack on October 7. During his arrest, Issa was found with a significant amount of training equipment and airsoft weapons. Phone data revealed searches for combat training instructions and downloaded materials on constructing explosive devices. Investigators also found evidence that he had attempted to build bombs using readily available materials and had shared his activities on social media. Issa had unrestricted access to the target facility as he is employed by the national fire and rescue services. Following interrogations, prosecutors have notified the Central District Court of their intent to indict Issa, a procedural step before filing formal charges. Both the Shin Bet and police emphasized their zero-tolerance policy for any Israeli citizen involved in activities threatening national security.
