Israeli Man Arrested for Planning Server Farm Bombing
Shin Bet and Israeli police have arrested a 19-year-old Israeli Arab man, Mustafa Issa from Kafr Qasim, on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack. Authorities stated that Issa was influenced by the "Guardian of the Walls" events and the October 7th Hamas attacks.
During his arrest, investigators seized training equipment and airsoft weapons. His interrogation revealed that he had searched his mobile phone for combat guides and downloaded instructions for making explosives. He also reportedly attempted to construct explosive devices using various materials and involved others in his activities.
Issa allegedly planned to bomb a server farm belonging to the technology giant Amdocs. He had previously gained access to the facility as part of his national service with the fire department.
A statement of charges has been filed against Issa in the Central District Court, with an indictment expected. Shin Bet and police emphasized their commitment to preventing threats to national security and prosecuting those involved.
