IDF and Shin Bet Arrest Senior Fatah Operative in West Bank Raid
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet security agency announced Monday the arrest of a senior Fatah operative, Muhammad Ibrahim Awed Allah Shahada, during a special operation in Tulkarm. Forces from the Duvdevan unit, under the command of the Ephraim Brigade, conducted the raid.
The arrest followed an intelligence and operational manhunt by Israeli security forces over recent weeks. Shahada is suspected of deep involvement in terrorist activities, including planning and executing attacks, as well as arms trafficking.
Israeli security officials emphasized that offensive operations in Judea and Samaria will continue. The goal is to thwart threats and maintain the security of Israeli citizens and residents of the region.
