Missing Haifa Student's Body Found After Extensive Three-Day Search
The body of a 22-year-old Haifa resident, who had been missing since being last seen at the Students' Beach in Haifa, was located on Saturday after an extensive three-day search. The Israeli Police, in collaboration with numerous other agencies, conducted the operation.
According to police reports, all available resources were deployed during the search, including drones, a police helicopter, a police boat, sea scooters, jet skis, horses, and jeeps. The search efforts focused on continuous day and night sweeps from the air, along the coastline, and in the water.
The comprehensive operation involved officers and volunteers from the Coastal District, Border Police combatants, the aerial unit, the maritime police, mounted police, K9 units, the Navy's Yaltam unit, the Fire and Rescue Services' Lahav unit, police volunteer rescue units, the Haifa Municipality, United Hatzalah, neighborhood watch teams, jeep volunteers, a diving volunteer club, beach lifeguards, civilian volunteers, Magen David Adom, the Yididim organization, police rescue unit volunteers, ZAKA volunteers, and additional forces.
