Body of Missing 22-Year-Old Found in Haifa After Three-Day Search

The body of a 22-year-old man, reported missing three days prior, was discovered on Students' Beach in Haifa. The extensive search operation involved a wide array of forces, including police, rescue units, and volunteers, who conducted land, sea, and air sweeps.

The police confirmed the young man, a Haifa resident, was found deceased earlier today, concluding the three-day search that began after he was reported missing. The search efforts covered large areas around the beach, the waters, and the coastline, continuing day and night.

Numerous resources were deployed, such as drones, a police helicopter, a light aircraft, boats, jet skis, horses, and all-terrain vehicles. Specialized units, including Border Police, the Air Unit, the Maritime Police, mounted police, K9 units, and the naval unit "Yaltam," participated. Support also came from the Fire and Rescue Services' "Lahava" unit, police rescue volunteers, the Haifa Municipality, the Rescue Union, emergency teams, ATV volunteers, divers, beach lifeguards, MDA, "Yedidim," "Zaka," and other volunteer groups.

The search focused on comprehensive sweeps of the airspace, coastal areas, and the sea. The diverse terrain necessitated simultaneous operations across land, sea, and air. The search concluded after three days with the discovery of the deceased.

Following the operation, the police expressed gratitude to all participating units and volunteers and extended condolences to the young man's family.
