Body of Missing Young Man Found After Extensive Search
The body of a young man in his 20s, who disappeared nearly three days ago at the Students' Beach in Haifa, has been located. He was last seen entering the water on Thursday afternoon. Following his disappearance, a large-scale search operation was launched involving police officers and volunteers from the Carmel district, Border Police, a jeep unit, Haifa municipality teams, and other emergency and rescue organizations.
The search efforts continued around the clock, employing a multi-pronged approach. Maritime units, assisted by the Coastal District and marine police, conducted searches using jet skis and sonar technology. A police helicopter scanned the area from the air, while ground forces meticulously combed the coastline.
During the search, the Commissioner of Police, Yaakov Shabtai, and the Commander of the Coastal District, Yechiel Bohnana, visited the scene to assess the situation and receive updates on the ongoing efforts.
