Top Hamas Commander Killed in Gaza Strike
A top Hamas commander in Gaza, Mohammed Al-Yazouri, also known as Abu Al-Haitam, was killed in an overnight Israeli strike near a mosque in Khan Younis. Al-Yazouri led the Khan Younis brigade within Hamas's military wing. Two other individuals, including an engineer and another Hamas commander named Hudhaifa Maamar, also died in the strike, which occurred as the group was on the street near the Al-Quba mosque.
Further casualties were reported in the same area later. Muaman Abu Labda was killed in a strike on a vehicle in the Hamad residential complex, and two more individuals died in a drone attack near another mosque in the Mawasi zone.
The Israeli military stated that its operations are ongoing, targeting the infrastructure and leadership of radical groups, emphasizing that these actions are taken to ensure security and prevent future threats.
