Top Hamas Commander in Khan Yunis Eliminated in Gaza Strike
The commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis brigade, Muhammad al-Yazouri, also known as Abu al-Haithem, was killed in an Israeli airstrike overnight in the Gaza Strip. Al-Yazouri held a significant leadership position within Hamas's military wing, comparable in importance to an IDF regional commander. The strike targeted a group of individuals near the Al-Quba mosque in Khan Yunis.
Two other individuals were killed alongside al-Yazouri in the attack. One of them has been identified as Hudaifa Ammar, another Hamas commander and engineer. This operation follows a day of intensified Israeli strikes in Gaza, during which nine Gazans were killed.
