Israel is set to experience mild temperatures typical for this season throughout the upcoming Rosh Hashanah holiday. Following morning cloud cover, the weather is expected to clear, becoming fair and pleasant. A slight additional drop in temperatures is forecast for coastal areas, the lowlands, and the Negev desert on Friday.
On Saturday, Rosh Hashanah day, the weather will remain fair after morning clouds dissipate, with temperatures holding steady. Sunday will see partly cloudy skies in the morning, clearing later in the day. A slight increase in temperatures is expected, making them slightly higher than average for the season, particularly in the mountains and inland areas, with an increase in heat load.
Monday, the fast of Gedalia, will also be fair after morning clouds clear, with no significant temperature changes. By Tuesday, a shift is anticipated, with partly cloudy to clear skies and a slight decrease in temperatures.
Highs on Friday and Saturday are expected to reach 30°C in Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashdod, and Ashkelon, with Jerusalem and Mitzpe Ramon around 30°C, and Beersheba and Afula reaching 33-34°C. Jerusalem will see lows around 19°C, while coastal cities will be around 25°C.
