On Friday, the eve of Rosh Hashanah, skies will clear after morning clouds dissipate, leading to fair weather and a slight drop in temperatures nationwide. This cooling trend is anticipated to ease the stress of last-minute holiday preparations.
Saturday, the first day of Rosh Hashanah, will also see fair weather after morning clouds clear, with no significant temperature changes. Sunday, the second day of the holiday, will begin with partly cloudy skies, transitioning to fair weather later in the day. A slight increase in temperatures is expected on Sunday, signaling a return to warmer conditions.
Temperature forecasts for the holiday include: Jerusalem and Mitzpe Ramon, 19-30 degrees Celsius (66-86 F); Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Ashkelon, 25-30 degrees Celsius (77-86 F); Ashdod, 24-30 degrees Celsius (75-86 F); Afula, 21-34 degrees Celsius (70-93 F); and Be'er Sheva, the warmest location, with temperatures ranging from 21-35 degrees Celsius (70-95 F).
