New Poll Shows Tight Race Between Likud and Yisrael Beitenu Ahead of Elections

A new poll conducted by political consultant Yossi Tatika reveals a tie between the Likud party and Yisrael Beitenu, led by Gadi Eisenkot, with each party securing 23 Knesset seats. This survey, the first released since the candidate lists for the 26th Knesset elections were finalized, shows Naftali Bennett's party maintaining its position as the third-largest with 15 seats for a second consecutive week.

Within the current coalition bloc, Shas shows a gain, reaching 10 seats after weeks of stagnation. However, this increase for Shas and the Likud comes at the expense of Otzma Yehudit and Religious Zionism, which drop to 6 and 4 seats respectively. Ofer Winter's Am Israel party and the Miluimnikim party, led by Yoaz Hendel and Prof. Yaron Ze'ev, along with Benny Gantz's Blue and White party, all fall below the electoral threshold.

The poll indicates that the "change bloc" (opposition) would currently garner 56 seats, while the "coalition bloc" would secure 52 seats. When considering support for Benjamin Netanyahu, 52 Knesset members would oppose him, while 68 would support him.

Regarding satisfaction with party candidate lists, 74% of all respondents expressed satisfaction. Among Yisrael Beitenu voters, satisfaction stood at 85%, and for Likud voters, it was 81%. The survey was conducted on September 9-10, 2026, with 500 Jewish and Arab respondents, and has a maximum margin of error of 4.4%.
