Gadi Eisenkot's "Yashar!" party announced Thursday it will sign a surplus vote agreement with Yair Golan's "Democrats" party. This move comes as Eisenkot's preferred option, a similar deal with Avigdor Lieberman's Yisrael Beiteinu party, did not materialize. Lieberman's party instead finalized a surplus vote agreement with Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid's "Yachad" party.
"Yashar!" stated that the agreement with the Democrats is part of an effort to unite the "change bloc" and prevent vote wastage in the upcoming elections.
