Israeli Settler Sentenced to 13 Years for 2018 Killing of Aisha Rabi
A Lod District Court has sentenced a young man to 13 years in prison for his role in the death of Aisha Rabi, a mother of nine, in Samaria in 2018. The convicted individual, who was a minor at the time of the attack, is a resident of an Israeli settlement. His name has not been released due to his age.
Aisha Rabi died in October 2018 when a rock was thrown at the vehicle she was traveling in with her husband near the settlement of Rehelim. The court determined that the attack was motivated by nationalism.
The primary charge for which the defendant was found guilty was causing death during a terror attack. In addition to the prison sentence, the court ordered him to pay 258,000 shekels in compensation to the victim's family.
