Israel's population has officially crossed the 10 million mark, reaching an estimated 10,305,000 people as of the upcoming new year, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS). The population grew by approximately 124,000 individuals, a 1.2% increase since the previous new year.
During the past year, Israel saw about 182,000 births and 50,000 deaths. However, the international migration balance was negative, with an estimated 8,000 people leaving the Israeli population. The number of Israelis returning from abroad also saw a decline, with 18,800 returning last year compared to 24,200 in 2024.
