Arkia Launches Direct Flights to Manila, Philippines

Arkia Airlines is expanding its operations to the East with the launch of a new direct route to Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The service to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (MNL) is scheduled to commence on January 3, 2027.

Ticket prices will start at $750 for a one-way economy class seat and $1,800 for a one-way business class seat. The flights will be operated using a wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft, featuring both business and economy class cabins. Business class seats will convert into fully flat beds.

The route will operate once a week, with departures from Tel Aviv on Sundays in the afternoon and return flights from Manila on Mondays in the morning. The service will run from January to April, coinciding with the peak tourist season in the Philippines.

Flight duration is estimated at approximately 11 hours from Tel Aviv to Manila and about 12 hours and 20 minutes for the return journey to Israel. The Philippines has become an increasingly popular destination for Israelis in recent years, attracting visitors with its beaches, numerous islands, natural sites, and local culture. Manila serves as the primary gateway to the country, offering onward connections to various tourist destinations across the archipelago.
