NEWSru Israel
Translated & summarized from NEWSru Israel by baba
The story · English

The Shas party has officially released its candidate list for the upcoming 26th Knesset elections. Party leader Aryeh Deri remains at the top of the list, followed by Yinon Azulai in second place and Michael Malchieli in third. A notable addition to the slate is Dror Amos, head of the Haifa religious council and a reserve lieutenant colonel in the IDF, who secured the sixth position.

As has been the case since the party's founding in 1984, the Shas list includes no female candidates. The full list of candidates for the 2026 elections is: 1. Aryeh Deri, 2. Yinon Azulai, 3. Michael Malchieli, 4. Yoav Ben-Tzur, 5. Haim Biton, 6. Dror Amos, 7. Moshe Abutbul, 8. Uriel Buso, 9. Yosef Taieb, 10. Yonatan Mashriki, 11. Yosef Elnatanov, 12. Erez Malul, 13. Simon Moshiashvili.
