Shas Party Unveils Knesset Candidate List, Adds Military Officer
The Shas party has announced its list of candidates for the 26th Knesset elections. Party leader Aryeh Deri is at the top of the list, followed by Yinnon Azulai, Michael Malchieli, Yoav Ben-Tzur, Haim Biton, Dror Amos, Moshe Abutbul, Uriel Busso, Yosef Tayeb, Yonatan Mashriki, Yosef Elnatanov, Erez Malul, and Simon Moshiashvili.
A notable addition to the list is Dror Amos, a retired Colonel and head of the religious council in Haifa, who secured the sixth position. Amos is the first high-ranking military officer to be included in the Shas party's electoral slate. This move signifies the party's intention to broaden its representation by incorporating a candidate with military and public service experience.
