Ex-IDF Chief Gadi Eisenkot's Party Leads New Poll Ahead of Elections

As party lists finalize for the upcoming Knesset elections, former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot's new party, "Yashar!" (Straight!), is showing significant gains in a Channel 12 poll, securing 25 mandates. This places the party four mandates ahead of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud party, which garnered 21 mandates in the same survey. The poll results indicate a shifting political landscape as election day approaches.

Following Eisenkot's party and the Likud, Naftali Bennett's "Beitech" (Together) party is projected to receive 13 mandates. Yair Golan's "Democrats" party follows with 11 mandates. Several other parties are also projected to cross the electoral threshold, including Israel Beiteinu and United Torah Judaism, each with 8 mandates. The Joint List and Shas are expected to receive 7 mandates each.

Further down the list, the joint list of Bezalel Smotrich and Moshe Feiglin is projected to win 6 mandates, as is Itamar Ben-Gvir's Otzma Yehudit party. Ra'am, led by Mansour Abbas, and Ofer Vinter's "Am Israel" party are both expected to receive 4 mandates, with "Am Israel" narrowly passing the electoral threshold.

Several parties failed to reach the 3.25% electoral threshold in the poll. These include "HaMiluimnikim" (The Reservists) with 2.7%, "HaTzibur HaChareidi" (The Haredi Public) with 1.1%, Blue and White with 1.0%, Noam LeYisrael with 0.2%, and Sharon Haskel's "Yisrael T'chila" (Israel First) party, which received 0.0%. The poll was conducted as parties were finalizing their slates for the upcoming elections.
