Ex-IDF Chief Gantz's Yisrael Atid Tops Poll, Netanyahu's Likud Second, Bennett Third

A new Knesset poll released on Monday evening by Channel 12 news shows the party Yisrael Atid, led by former IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eizenkot, leading with 24 seats. The Likud party, headed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, follows closely with 22 seats, while Naftali Bennett's party, Yachdav, ranks third with 15 seats. The Democratic party under Yair Golan is projected to receive 11 seats.

Other parties include Yisrael Beiteinu led by Avigdor Lieberman and Otzma Yehudit led by Itamar Ben-Gvir, each with 9 seats. United Torah Judaism under Moshe Gafni is expected to get 8 seats. The Joint List, led by Yosef Jabareen, and Shas under Aryeh Deri both receive 7 seats. At the bottom are Religious Zionism led by Bezalel Smotrich and Ra'am under Mansour Abbas, each with 4 seats.

Several parties fall below the electoral threshold, including Beit Tziony, the Reservists led by Hili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel with 2.9%, Achdut led by Gilad Erdan with 0.8%, and Blue and White under Benny Gantz with 0.4%. The opposition bloc holds 59 seats, the coalition 50, and Arab parties 11.

The poll also tested scenarios involving a party led by Ofer Winter. In this case, Eizenkot’s party remains at 24 seats, Likud drops to 21, Bennett’s party rises to 16, Winter’s party crosses the threshold with 4 seats, and Religious Zionism falls below the threshold. The opposition bloc strengthens to 60 seats, while the coalition drops to 49.

Another scenario examined a joint list of Blue and White and Achdut, alongside Ra'am with Mansour Abbas and Winter’s party. Here, Eizenkot’s party increases to 25 seats, Likud gets 21, Bennett 15, Ra'am and Winter’s party each receive 4 seats, Religious Zionism remains below the threshold, and the joint Blue and White-Achdut list gets 2.8%. The bloc distribution remains 60 opposition, 49 coalition, and 11 Arab seats.
