Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar Party Leads New Israeli Mandate Poll, Likud Second

A recent mandate poll by Maariv newspaper reveals the current political landscape in Israel, with Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party leading at 23 seats. The Likud party follows closely with 22 seats, while the Beyachad party holds 15 seats. Israel Beiteinu secures 10 seats, and the Democrats party remains at 9 seats, failing to regain double digits after the primaries.

Other parties include United Torah Judaism and Otzma Yehudit, each with 8 seats, Shas with 7 seats, and the trio of Hadash-Ta'al, Ra'am, and Religious Zionism hovering near the electoral threshold with 5 and 4 seats respectively. The Beit Tzioni list, led by Hili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel, crosses the threshold with 4 seats. Conversely, Balad and Blue and White do not pass the electoral threshold.

The poll's bloc division shows 57 seats for anti-Netanyahu factions, 49 seats for pro-Netanyahu groups, 10 seats for Arab parties, and 4 seats for Beit Tzioni. This distribution highlights the ongoing political fragmentation and competition ahead of upcoming elections.
