Israel Weather Forecast: Hot Temperatures Expected Through Next Week
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a slight increase in temperatures for Monday, September 7, with readings expected to be slightly above the seasonal average. Variable cloudiness is also anticipated. Highs will reach 31 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Ariel. Eilat will experience a high of 39 degrees, Beer Sheva 34 degrees, and the Dead Sea coast 37 degrees. Tiberias and the Kinneret coast will see highs of 37 degrees, while the Golan Heights will reach 36 degrees. Water temperature off the Mediterranean coast is 30 degrees Celsius, with wave heights between 50 and 100 centimeters. Winds along the Mediterranean coast near Tel Aviv and Haifa will be northwesterly at up to 15 km/h. Near the Kinneret, winds will be northwesterly up to 25 km/h, and in the Eilat Bay area, northeasterly winds will reach up to 25 km/h. Temperatures are expected to rise further on Tuesday, with no significant changes predicted from Wednesday through Sunday.
