Netanyahu Warns Iran of Unimaginable Blow if Attacked

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning to Iran on Sunday, stating that if Tehran attacks Israel, it will face a "blow it cannot imagine." Speaking at a Rosh Hashanah (New Year) gathering with the government, Netanyahu declared Israel's determination to overthrow the Iranian regime, asserting that its end is near.

Netanyahu emphasized Israel's resolve to defend itself and strike its enemies, noting that Iran has thus far avoided direct confrontation, aware of the consequences. "Of course, it can err and make the mistake and indeed attack us. It will receive a blow it cannot even imagine," he stated.

He also addressed Israel's adversaries more broadly, urging them not to provoke Israel and highlighting the nation's ability to unite during critical times, calling it the strongest power in the Middle East and beyond.

"This regime in Iran, its end is near," Netanyahu declared, framing the toppling of the Iranian regime as a crucial mission Israel is committed to completing. He described the regime as weak and struggling for survival, predicting that its downfall would permanently alter the Middle East and the course of Jewish history.

The Prime Minister also referenced recent Israeli achievements, particularly in cooperation with the United States, in averting existential threats. He claimed that nuclear bombs and ballistic missiles have been kept at bay and that the "Iranian axis" has been significantly impacted. Netanyahu also commended Israeli soldiers and security forces for ongoing operations against terrorists in Lebanon, Gaza, and the West Bank, concluding with a Rosh Hashanah blessing for the Israeli people.
