Netanyahu Issues Stark Warning to Iran Over Potential Attack

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued an unusually strong threat directed at Iran during a Rosh Hashanah toast event with the cabinet on Sunday. He declared that if Iran makes the mistake of attacking Israel, it will face a devastating response.

"If Iran makes a mistake and attacks us, it will absorb a blow it cannot imagine. We are determined to complete the mission of toppling the regime, its end is near," Netanyahu stated. He emphasized Israel's strength and its enemies' weakness, attributing significant achievements, including averting existential threats like nuclear bombs and ballistic missiles, to wise decisions, the bravery of soldiers, and the resilience of the people, in conjunction with the United States.

Netanyahu asserted that Iran is currently refraining from direct attacks, knowing the consequences, but warned that any miscalculation could trigger a severe Israeli response. He also praised the IDF soldiers and security forces for their ongoing efforts, noting the elimination of terrorists in Lebanon, Gaza, and Judea and Samaria.

The Prime Minister reiterated that while significant achievements have been made, the mission to topple the Iranian regime remains, which he believes is weak and struggling for survival. He expressed confidence that completing this mission would permanently alter the Middle East and the history of the Jewish people. Netanyahu concluded with a traditional Rosh Hashanah blessing, wishing the people of Israel greater blessings in the coming year.
