Netanyahu Warns Iran of Unimaginable Blow if Attacked

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a stark warning to Iran on Sunday, stating that if the Islamic Republic attacks Israel, it will "suffer a blow it cannot imagine." Speaking at a Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) gathering with the cabinet, Netanyahu asserted that Iran's regime is nearing its end and that Israel is determined to complete the mission of its downfall.

Netanyahu highlighted Israel's strength and its enemies' weakness, attributing recent achievements to "wise and brave decisions" made by the government, the bravery of soldiers, and the resilience of the people. He specifically mentioned successes in averting existential threats, including nuclear bombs and ballistic missiles, and significant strikes against the Iranian axis. He emphasized Israel's resolve to defend itself and strike its enemies.

While acknowledging that Iran has so far avoided direct confrontation, Netanyahu cautioned against miscalculation. "Of course, it can err and make the mistake and indeed attack us," he said, reiterating the severe consequences. He also addressed Israel's ongoing efforts, stating that "terrorists are being eliminated all the time, in Lebanon, in Gaza, in Judea and Samaria." The Prime Minister stressed that despite significant achievements, there is still work to be done, particularly the overthrow of the Iranian regime, which he described as weak and fighting for survival.

Netanyahu concluded by expressing confidence in Israel's ability to unite during challenging times, calling it the strongest power in the Middle East. He wished the nation a happy new year, anticipating greater blessings than ever before.
