Approximately 20 masked fans infiltrated Beitar Jerusalem's training facility on Saturday, breaching the locker room to confront players ahead of their upcoming match. The fans, who reportedly threw flares, expressed their deep disappointment with the team's performance, stating, "We are not sleeping at night. We were humiliated at Bloomfield." They specifically referenced a recent loss to Hapoel Tel Aviv as unacceptable and warned of similar protests if such results continue.

During the incident, coach Almog Cohen reportedly took responsibility, telling the fans, "I am first and foremost to blame. It's all on me, not the players." Owner Barak Abramov acknowledged the fans' sentiments, understanding their high expectations for the team. The fans also alluded to unprofessional behavior among some players, claiming, "We know who went out to party before the game, we know everything. There are players here who think about not maintaining professionalism, this will not happen."

With Beitar Jerusalem yet to secure any points in their last two league games, Cohen is reportedly considering significant changes for the upcoming match against Sakhnin at Doha Stadium on Monday. Liel Darai is expected to replace the suspended Luca Gadriani, while Gil Cohen is being prepared for the following game. Sean Weissman and Tomer Yosefi are contenders for starting spots, and Nana Antwi is unlikely to be fit, with Timothy Muzie continuing at left-back.
