Massive Drug Haul Intercepted Near Modi'in
Israeli police have seized approximately 455 kilograms of cannabis and 13 grams of cocaine, along with NIS 21,000 in cash, a commercial vehicle, and four mobile phones, during an operation in an agricultural area near Modi'in. The drugs were reportedly found hidden in dozens of cartons. The operation was conducted by detectives from the Tel Aviv Lev station, Border Police officers, and a police dog handler, acting on a court order.
During the search, officers noticed a commercial vehicle and numerous cartons nearby, which contained drugs apparently packaged for large-scale distribution and sale. The suspect, a man in his 30s from Givat Shmuel, was arrested and taken for questioning at the Tel Aviv Lev station. He is scheduled to appear in court, where police will request an extension of his detention pending the investigation.
